Twenty-five episodes across three series, bringing my father’s 1980s puppet series back as full-cast audio drama for Big Finish.
It kept the original’s daftness and its streak of social commentary, and gained the scale that audio allows.
Well received across all three series. CultBox gave volumes one and two five out of five, Blogtor Who gave volume three ten out of ten, and SciFiPulse scored the range in the mid-nines. Reviewing series three, CultBox’s Ian McArdell described the show as having outgrown its origins.
